We’re seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Head of Accounting in managing financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, payroll oversight, and consolidations. This role is key to driving accuracy, efficiency, and process improvements across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of key balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Assist in the integration of newly acquired channels, including accounting policy alignment and intercompany transactions.
- Support preparation of consolidated financials across multiple channels.
- Manage and review payroll processes in coordination with external providers or HR/payroll systems.
- Coordinate and support external audits and tax preparation by preparing relevant documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with AP/AR staff and cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Contribute to system improvements, process enhancements, and automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA in progress preferred)
- Proficiency in NetSuite (required), Excel, Solution 7, and Concur SAP
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
