Position Overview:
The Field Service Operations Lead will lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of residential lift installation projects. This role will initially be very hands-on, requiring direct involvement in installations, troubleshooting, and team training, but will likely become more supervisory as processes are refined and the team grows. Combining your construction, permitting, and technical expertise with strong leadership skills, you will ensure that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role will manage installation teams, optimize workflows, ensure compliance with local regulations, and act as a key liaison between customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Execution
•Oversee and manage the end-to-end installation of our award-winning Stiltz Lifts in residential settings, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
•Develop and implement project timelines, coordinating with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
•Obtain necessary permits and approvals, working with local permitting authorities and inspectors to facilitate a smooth approval process.
•Actively participate in installations during the early stages, including hands-on assembly and troubleshooting of lift components.
•Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or delays proactively.
Permitting & Compliance
•Manage permit applications, follow-ups, and documentation.
•Track permit timelines and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
•Ensure installations comply with local, state, and internal standards.
•Partner with corporate permitting or engineering resources when needed.
Team Management & Training
•Lead and mentor installation technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight to maintain high standards.
•Coach team members on proper installation techniques, troubleshooting procedures, and customer service best practices.
•Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.
•Conduct regular team meetings to review project updates, technical advancements, and safety procedures.
Technical Oversight & Quality Control
•Ensure all lift installations meet manufacturer specifications, company protocols, and industry safety standards.
•Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
•Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
•Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing clear communication, education, and post-installation support.
•Work closely with contractors, permitting offices, and internal teams to align project expectations and execution.
•Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including documentation of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
•Receive and inspect incoming inventory including lifts, rails, parts, and tools.
Safety & Compliance
•Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
•Stay up to date with regulations, local permitting requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Strong background in construction with hands-on technical experience in residential installations.
•Experience with permits and inspection processes.
•Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
•Ability to safely utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
•Experience leading installation teams or managing construction projects.
•Knowledge of residential construction materials and techniques, including wood, laminates, and concrete.
Salary:
$72,000 - $82,000 Annually
