Installation Technician Assistant - Stiltz Homelifts

As the Direct-to-Consumer Installation Technician Assistant, you will work alongside experienced technicians to assist in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of our lift systems in residential homes. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and passionate about providing outstanding service to our customers.
What You’ll Do
• Assist in the preparation and setup of equipment and materials for lift installations, including loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment at job sites.
• Support installation technicians in the assembly and installation of lift components, following manufacturer specifications and installation guidelines.
• Aid during lift testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during installation or servicing of lift systems.
• Provide support to customers during installations, including answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and vehicles, including cleaning up job sites and properly disposing of waste materials.
• Assist in the documentation of installation activities, including recording work performed, parts used and any customer interactions.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by installation technicians or management.
What We’re Looking For
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from senior technicians.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to safely utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
• Entry Level Construction Helper, Installer Assistant, or Field Service Support.
• Customer Service or On-Site Labor Support.

Salary: OTE, $40,000 - $50,000 Annually
