Position Overview:
As an Installation Technician for Stiltz Homelifts, this individual will work as a team with other installation technicians in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of our lift systems in residential homes. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and passionate about providing outstanding service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
•Work with teammates in the preparation and setup of equipment and materials for lift installations, including loading and unloading materials, tools and equipment at job sites.
•Participate in the assembly and installation of lift components, following manufacturer specifications and installation guidelines.
•Test and commission installed lifts to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
•Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of Stiltz Homelifts products.
•Provide support to customers during installations, including answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment and vehicles, including cleaning up job sites and properly disposing of waste materials.
•Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of work performed, parts used and any customer interactions.
•Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow the lead of more experienced teammates.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
•Ability to safely utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
• MUST have valid driver's license.
