As the Direct-to-Consumer Lead Installation Technician for Stiltz Homelifts, you will play a key role in the installation and servicing of our space-saving lift solutions in residential homes. You will lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring that installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, travel, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and oversee the installation of Stiltz Homelifts products in residential homes, ensuring that installations are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure that installations are completed according to company standards and procedures.
• Install lift components, including rails, drive systems and lift carriages, according to manufacturer specifications and installation guidelines.
• Test and commission installed lifts to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during installation or servicing of lift systems.
• Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of Stiltz Homelifts products.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of work performed, parts used and any customer interactions.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in the installation and servicing of residential elevators or similar mechanical systems. Residential Installation Technician, Field Service Technician, or Mechanical Installer.
• Lead Installer or Crew Lead in Construction or Mechanical Trades
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Knowledge of and ability to safely utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
